Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of https://epicfanwars.com (“EpicFanWars”), operated by Vinit Kothawade, Nashik, Maharashtra, India. By using the site or making a payment you agree to these terms.
1. What EpicFanWars is
EpicFanWars is a fan support and status platform. You can pay to show support for a side of a light-hearted debate (for example “Python vs JavaScript”). Your payment adds visible support to that side's total and, if you choose, shows your name, a link, and a short description on the site.
2. Not betting, gambling, or a prediction market
- Payments are voluntary support. They are not bets, wagers, stakes, or investments.
- There are no odds, no winners, no prizes, and no payouts of any kind to anyone who pays.
- The outcome of a debate is simply which side has more total support. Nothing is predicted or settled, and no money is ever returned based on any result.
- Money only ever flows from supporters to the platform.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to make a payment. You must use a payment method you are authorised to use.
4. Payments
- Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
- Visitors in India are charged in Indian Rupees (INR). The currency you will be charged in is shown on the payment form before you pay.
- Totals shown in other currencies are converted at a fixed reference rate for display only and are approximate.
- Your support is added to the scoreboard once Razorpay confirms the payment, usually within seconds.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Debate totals
To get new debates started, EpicFanWars may add initial starting amounts to a debate's totals. These starting amounts are added by the platform and are not payments from users. Names and links shown on the site always come from real supporters who chose to display them.
6. Your name, links and descriptions
Your name is shown only if you opt in at checkout. Links and descriptions you submit are shown publicly. You must not submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, promotes gambling or betting, infringes anyone's rights, or impersonates another person or brand. We may remove content that breaks these rules. Your support will still count towards the side you backed.
7. Availability
We try to keep the site available and accurate but provide it “as is”. We may add, change, or close debates at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid in the transaction the claim relates to.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Nashik, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page. Questions? See Contact Us.
